Thanksgiving is a weekend that is usually filled with food, family and reflection. I love looking back at the months and years that have passed and truly expressing gratitude for everything that happened. Reflection is something I encourage everyone to take time for because only in this way we can truly absorb the fast paste life we each are living. For me, living in Germany, making the move to Toronto, a new condo, setting it up, getting to know a new city and making amazing friends along the way to share these treasures with.
I am so grateful for the opportunities I have been given.
And although Instagram Posts and Stories may make it appear like my life is just parties, expensive bags and delicious food; trust me when I say it is not.
I am thankful for everything though, and the good and the tough, because all of it is making me the person I am.
Reflection, happiness, sadness, motivation and trusting in yourself and your opportunities have become vital in my life and in my relationship. I am most thankful for my husband, who - no matter what - has always believed in me and makes sure to push me and is always helping me reach my goals.
