Neon Pants!

Its the weekend once again! Time for metallic slides, my go-to side braid, and a pop of colour to brighten the mood (and the surrounding landscape around us!). Have you guys been though downtown Calgary on a Saturday / Sunday during the day? Its such a ghost town – thus its our favourite for location shooting. We are starting to really love this city!

Bundled Up In Gotham

Despite how beautiful, inspiring, enticing, exciting and invigorating New York City was, it was also another amazing verb: COLD. The sun may be shining here, but we truly bundled ourselves well before we stepped out into Manhattan, and usually that meant a minimum of three layers of clothing. But as they say, Fall is usually the favourite month of fashionites (not only because of Fashion Month) because they get to layer, layer and layer! So no, we weren’t complaining too much. And how could we? The sounds of taxis, the hustle of Manhattanites, the chilly wind – it was all part of our NYC experience. 

Jailhouse Blues

Nothing says hello I have arrived to Fashion Week like this all-striped look. As we made our way down King Street West in Toronto, we literally heard people say “oh they must be going to Fashion Week” as we walked past them. Of course, we took this as a compliment and (in a very rainy Toronto) continued onwards to David Pecaut Square where all of the magic of WMCFW happens.

Of the many beautiful, historic and picturesque streets in Paris, there is something about the luxe charm of rue Saint-Honoré which is undeniable. Guiding through the 1st arrondissement of Paris, this has undoubtably become our favourite street in the City of Lights.
