Weekend Simplicity

Weekend family affairs usually require a more subtle look. For a Baby Shower this past weekend I felt this white and grey look would be just right. This cozy jacket from Nordstrom has become one of my staples to dress up a simple look. Also, this white dress I am wearing is now on sale …

Faux Real (Vest)

In Canada, its a strange time right now – a coat is too warm and wearing just a sweater feels too cold. One of the best and dopest solutions to this predicament is a vest, and since its almost snowy (and since I look for any excuse to wear it) I love me a faux …

Yellow Shorts in Santorini

Inspired by the breathtaking sunsets and motivated by the breezy island sunset, I decided to put together this fun look for tonight’s dinner in Santorini. You can now shop similar items to my outfits by clicking below!

Neon Pants!

Its the weekend once again! Time for metallic slides, my go-to side braid, and a pop of colour to brighten the mood (and the surrounding landscape around us!). Have you guys been though downtown Calgary on a Saturday / Sunday during the day? Its such a ghost town – thus its our favourite for location shooting. We are starting to really love this city!

Casual Fridays

This is definitely one of my go-to casual looks. Boyfriend jeans paired with a blazer and to add some spice I pull out a hat and a pop-colour purse. The “boyfriend-trend” has been around for some time now, but I know for me it will stay long after the “trend” has died. It is not only comfortable, it is also a style statement when no one is expecting you to look put together. Of course there is many interpretations of the “boyfriend-trend” and this is only one of my renditions. Whats your favourite “Casual Friday” look?

Do A Little Dance

We all need to have the piece in our closet that makes us happy, makes us want to dance, and reminds us to never take “fashion” too seriously – it should be fun, make us feel good, and help us to transform ourselves to the be the best version of ourselves for the world. And you would dance too if after the many months of winter, the sun was shining once again!

Silk Flowers on my Dress

Today’s fashion world loves to juxtapose old-standing ideals of beauty and design, and this piece from Lord & Taylor is the perfect example of the same. Who would imagine a sweatshirt dress to have over-sized silk flowers on it? This was an insanely comfortable item to explore Toronto’s Bloor Street in, and best of all, it was cozy against the chilly winds of Ontario. Win win in our books!

Jailhouse Blues

Nothing says hello I have arrived to Fashion Week like this all-striped look. As we made our way down King Street West in Toronto, we literally heard people say “oh they must be going to Fashion Week” as we walked past them. Of course, we took this as a compliment and (in a very rainy Toronto) continued onwards to David Pecaut Square where all of the magic of WMCFW happens.
